DUTCH SEAMEN TO BE DEPORTED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 8. Seven young Dutch seamen who since January have faced charges of being prohibited immigrants were told in the Police Court today that their application for permission to remain in New Zealand had failed. The accused were convicted by Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., and an order was made for their deportation under the Prohibited Immigrants Act. All the accused deserted from the tanker Alfred Clegg in Auckland in December.
