The Wainui, with southern cargo, arrived from Napier at C a.m. today and on completion of discharge and loading this evening is to sail for Wellington, proceeding thence to Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. to load again for Napier and Gisborne. »The Aorangi, from Vancouver and Victoria, via Honolulu, is to leave Suva tomorrow for Auckland, where she is due on Tuesday. The vessel is to sail on April 14 for Sydney. The Monowai sails from Wellington at 3 p.m. today for Sydney, where she is due on Tuesday. The vessel is to leave Sydney on April 14 for Auckland. The Waitomo left Vancouver on April 6 and is to depart from San Francisco on April 12 and from San Pedro on April 15, for Tahiti, Rarotonga and Auckland The Waitemata. from Auckland, via Rarotonga and Tahiti, is due at Vancouver on April 14. The vessel is to load at Pacific Coast ports for New Zealand. The Margaret W left Auckland today for Coast bays and Gisborne. She is due here on Monday. The Pakura arrives tomorrow from Wellington and Napier. She is expected to sail tomorrow for Motueka. The Pukeko i 3 expected to arrive here next Friday from Auckland. Converted Aircraft Carrier
Formerly an aircraft-carrier of the British fleet, the converted freighter Rhodesian Star will be an interesting caller at Napier. Scheduled to arrive tnis evening from Brisbane, the vessel is to uplift a heavy cargo for Britain and the Continent. Before conventional decking, superstructure and other changes were made to adapt the ship to cargo carrying, the Rhodesian Star, now a vessel of the Blue Star Line, used to bear the sieeit lines of the aircraft-carrier H.M.S. Premier. Now the only relic of her wartime role is her stern which has not been altered from the days when she was a "flat-top. ’
