L.V.A. SEEKING RISE IN HOTEL TARIFFS

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 6. An application by the New Zealand United Licensed Victuallers’ Association for permission to increase licensed hotel tariffs will be heard before the Price Tribunal on Friday.

The licensed victuallers have proposed a star system of grading hotels for tariff purposes under which there would be 10 grades.
