GISBORNE BREEDERS ON RIGHT LINES: CHILLED BEEF TRADE
“Gisborne breeders definitely are working on the right lines.” said a visiting Hawke's Bay farmer _ breeder with a knowledge of the requirementsof the chilled beef industry after inspecting the entry on the hooks in the chiller class at the Kaiti freezing works yesterday. He wished to congratulate the winning breeders and the P-B. Agricultural and Pastoral Association, on s success of the competition in its s~ i year. It was a creditable perform e and his only criticism was that a number of the beasts had been a r .a overdone. , “You have the foundation lines and the light type of cattle here and everything should be ready to go ahead when there is once again normality in world conditions,” he concluded. i
