MILLHAND INJURED WHEN RABBIT HUNTER WAS UNLOADING RIFLE

(P.A.) ROTORUA, April 4. A man was accidentally shot and wounded by a fellow employee at the timber mill at Upper Atamuri late yesterday. He was: Mr. William Millwood, single, aged 42, millhand of Atiamuri. He was taken to the Rotorua Hospital where a .22 calibre bullet was removed from his right side. He was later discharged. A companion who had been rabbitshooting was emptying the magazine of an automatic rifle when the bullet which struck Mr. Millwood was discharged.
