(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Mar, 8. The English women cricketers began a two-day match against Canterbury this morning. England won the toss and put Canterbury in to bat. B. Wood took two earljr wickets and, after an hour's play Canterbury bad three wickets down for 35. At lunch Canterbury had lost eight wickets for 71.
