PERSONAL
SUPERINTENDENT D. J. O’NEILL has arrived in Wellington from Christchurch to take charge of the Wellington police district, following the retirement of Superintendent J. A. Dempsey. MR. F. TOLERTON presided over Messrs. L. Miles, E. W. McKenzie, G. Crawshaw, J. H. R. Egan, C. J. Cox, W. Findlay and Dr. A. L. Singer at the monthly meeting of the Gisborne advisory committee of the Automobile Association (Auckland), held on Thursday.
