MR. AND MRS A. STENT, Tuai, are spending a holiday motoring on the East Coast.

MR. W. R. MAXWELL, Hastings, was a visitor at yesterday’s luncheon of the Gisborne Rotary Club. MRS ADA E BEER will leave on Wednesday for Wellington, where at Thursday’s investiture at Government House she will be invested with the insignia of membership of the Order of the British Empire. Mrs. Beer will be accompanied by her son, Mr. E. Beer, Tolaga Bay.
