CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES PLAYED ON GISBORNE GREENS

Senior and junior club championship fours were played on the Gisborne Bowling Club's greens on Saturday under ideal conditions. The final stage of the Junior Champion Fours has been reached, Dewar’s team being matched against Bury’s. Results: —

Senior Champion Fours. —Wise, Heberton, Poole, Olsen (s) 25 v. Smart, Brebner, Salmon. Bignell (s) 22; Duckworth, Jones, Williams, Armstrong (s) 14 v. Anderson, Kendrew, Harraway, Bright (s) 21; Wise, Heberton, Poole, Olsen (s) 24 v. Quigley, McLeod, Neal, Galvin (s) 12.

Junior Champion Fours. Kelly, Kane, Clark, Dewar (s) 22 v. Jenkins, Langhorne, Sheen, Attewell (s) 18; Hoy Tarr, Hope, Bury (s) 22 v. Langhorne, Jenkins, Sheen, Attewell (s) 14. Dewar is to play Bury in the final. Both have one life.
