(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Feb. 21. The most successful of the local olavers who met the touring New South Wales tennis team at Mitchell Park Hutt Valiev, on Saturday was O. M. Bold, who featured in two victories that fell to his side. The visitors were opposed by the national champion: J. E. Robson (Otago) and three Hutt Valley players— Bold. R V. Robb and the intermediate A. Wetherall. Results. Hutt mentioned first: — Singles.—.l. E. Robson (Otago) lost to O. W. Sidwell, I—6, I—6: O. M. Rold beat R. McCarthy. 6—l. I—6, 6—4; R. V. Robb lost to J.Matthews, 6—B. 6 —3. 3 —6: A. Wetherall lost to D. Roeavert. o—6,0 —6, 3—6. Doubles. —Robson and Bold beat Sid well and Roeavert. 6—3. 6—3: Robb and Wetherall lost to McCarthy and Matthews, 4—6, 3—6.
