RIFLE SHOOTING HANDICAP MATCH

On Saturday afternoon members of the Gisborne Defence Rifle Club held a handicap match of 10 shots and two siehters at both he 500 and 600yds distance on the Sponge Bay range, with a possible score of 100 points. With handicaps added I. Caio secured first place with a gross score of 95 points, while D. Nicholson, with a similar gross score, filled the second position and W. London took the third prize on the Bisley count back from R. Bu'l and H. Parata. with 94. Five competitors completed back shoots at these distances also, when F. J. Jeune registered a possible at 500yds and 48 po'nts at. 600yds. Detailed 'results were as follows:
