WOOL BOARD'S GIFT OF CLOTHES TO N.Z. CRICKET TEAM

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 21. The New Zealand Wool Board announced today that members of the New Zealand cricket team will take the field in England attired in cricketing clothes specially tailored for them in New Zealand wool. The outfits, which are the gift of New Zealand woolgrowers, will consist of a knitted sweater, a pair of cream worsted trousers and two pairs of socks. The material for all three articles was specially made by three of the leading woollen mills of the South Island. The committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council has expressed its thanks to the Wool Board for the gift.
