MRS. W. L. FILE. Roebuck road, yesterday celebrated her 90th. birthday in the good health which she has enjoyed for most of her life. Mrs. File was born in London and came to New Zealand at the age of 18 years, subsequently marrying the late Mr. W. L. File, well-known for his long association with friendly society work. She was widowed in 1923. Yesterday’s anniversary was celebrated by a family gathering at which most of Mrs. File’s five sons and six daughters now surviving were present.
