BOOKMAKER FINED £2O

(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Feb. 21. Stated in court by Senior Detective G. E. Callaghan to be an agent only, Claude McEwen, aged 42, a newspaper vendor, was fined £2O by Mr. A. H. McLachlan, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court today after he had pleaded guilty to a charge of bookmaking.
