France Has Ample Uranium Ore For Needs
(2 p.m.) PARIS, Feb. 21. France now had enough uranium ore to satisfy her own production of uranium, Professor Joliot-Curie, head
of the French Atomic Energy Commissariat, told the newspaper Liberation. He was commenting on the discovery of a uranium ore deposit near St. Sylvestre. He denied the reports that the yield of St. Sylvestre ore was the highest in the world.
