HUGE STOCK LOSSES IN U.S. BLIZZARDS
WASHINGTON, Feb. 14. The Department of Agriculture reported today that the recent blizzards killed 80,000 cattle and calves, 97,000 sheep and lambs in South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming and'Colorado. The losses represented about 2 percent of the number of cattle in those States and a little over 5 per cent, the number of sheep.
