618 GREEK REBELS KILLED IN ATTACK ON FLORINA

ATHENS, Feb.l4. A Greek Army General Staff communique said that a guerrilla attack against the strategically important town of Fiorina developed into a major guerrilla disaster and a brilliant Nationalist victory, reports the Associated Press correspondent. The guerrillas lost 618 killed and 325 prisoners. The Army’s casualties were 25 killed and 135 wounded.
