SUPERFORTS MAY BOLSTER R.A.F. BOMBER FORCES

(10 a.m.) LONDON, Feb,. 15. The Daily Telegraph’s avaition correspondent says that Britain’s bomber force may be rearmed as an interim measure with some of the 1,500 superfortress bombers in store in the United States. These are superior in performance to the Lancasters and Lincolns, but will soon not be needed by the United States Air Force which already has better piston-engined bombers besides new types of jet bombers.
