ARGUMENT OVER GERMAN ASSETS IN AUSTRIA

(11 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 15. The representatives of the Western Powers repeatedly but unavailingly pressed the Soviet delegation for specific details of the Russian claims on former German assets in Austria at today’s meeting of the Foreign Ministers’ deputies who are considering the Austrian Peace Treaty. Mr. Zarubin (Russia, maintained that there must be agreement in principle on the disposal of these assets before the deputies could consider the detailed properties involved. The British, United States and French delegations made it clear that they were willing to make further concessions if the Soviet delegation would discuss the actual properties and assets involved.
