BRITAIN WIDENS EXPORT BAN ON MILITARY GOODS

<ll a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 15. The President of the Board of Trade, iky’ Mr: Harold Wilson, said in the House of Commons that an additional range of goods of potential military value . would be put under export control and A . would not be available for export if ,/that was against security interests. . The Government, in reaching this ' decision, had kept in touch with its

principal partners in Western Europe, the United States Government and the Commonwealth Governments principally concerned. The list had not been finally elaborated in the light of these discussions, but the Government expected to publish a new list shortly. Mr. Wilson told Mr. D. Pritt that the decision to disapprove the export to Russia of three Geiger counter assemblies (the apparatus used for tracing radio-activity) was taken on the advice of his supply advisers.
