Erosion on Crown Lands

“We have never had any difficulty in this district with Crown tenants respecting the cost of works to protect their interests in property,” said the chairman, Mr. J. R. Hair, dealing at yesterday's meeting of the P.B. Catchment Board with a letter from the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council defining the accepted responsibility of the Lands and Surveys Department for part or whole cost of contributions to work carried out on Crown Lands.
