BIG TRADE PROSPECTS
SYDNEY, Dec. 15. Australia was on the threshold of a big expansion in business. Mr. A. Lutchner, an English manufacturer, said today. Mr. Lutchner, who has brought his family from England, hopes to establish a £40,000 factory to make women’s clothing. He said he had been offered factory space near Melbourne. ‘‘lf the living standard of the Asiatics can be raised by only 1 per cent, there will be a market there worth millions,” Mr. Lutchner said.
