AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE TEAM’S VISIT

(P.A.) . AUCKLAND. Feb. 16. The Australian Rugby League Board of Control has tentatively accepted an invitation to tour New Zealand in the coming season, according to Mr. J. E. Knowling. secretary of the New Zealand council. The board hgs not yet considered the proposed itinerary in full meeting, but Queensland and New South Wales members have separately discussed suggestions. The New Zealand proposals were that the team should leave Sydney in the last week of August and between then and the third week of September play eight matches, including three tests, in Auckland. Huntly, Whangarei, New Plymouth, Wellington. Greymouth and Christchurch.
