PORT ELIZABETH. S.A. The motor industry here is viewing the import control regulations with some alarm, although it is realised that something had to be done to check the flow of dollars. The city now has two new £1.000,000 assembly plants, which between them employ from 5000 and 6000 people, and fears are being expressed that a sizeable percentage of this army of workers may be thrown out of employment.
