EAST COAST WOOL CLEARED

With the third week of the London sales over, all _ the East Coast wool which arrived in time for the series has been cleared, states advice received from the Committee of London Wool Brokers. Hogget wool sold extremely well at a steady level throughout, while the lower qualities were irregular but generally showed 10 per cent decline on the opening rates. Pieces and necks made excellent prices. The following is the range of prices for a good style clip: AH, 40d to 45d; BH. 32d to 36d: CH, 28d; AE, 30d to 32d; B, 28d to 29d: C. 27d to 28d; necks. 35d; pieces, 29d; bellies, 26d.
