PLUMBERS FEDERATION OFFICERS

(P.A.) . NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 12. The principal officers elected by the annual conference of the New Zealand Society of Master Plumbers' and New Zealand Master Plumbers’ Federation at New Plymouth yesterday were:— President: Mr. A. R. TuiTnell (Nelson); immediate past president, Mr. 11. W. Coyle (Auckland): senior vice-presi-dent, Mr. E. S. Trask (Wellington); junior vice-president, Mr. H. M. Cole (New Plymouth); representative on the New Zealand Plumbers' Board, Mr. R. Wainwright (Wellington); representative on the New Zealand Standards' Institute, Mr. R. Wainwright (Wellington) : secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. E. Harris (Wellington): executive council, Messrs. L. Albert (Wellington), A. C. Brocklesby (Hutt), E. Coleman (Wellington). W. R. Edvvane (Wellington). C. G. Martin (Wellington), H. Martin (Wellington), I. P. Mclntosh (Hutt), W. Thomson (Wellington). The advisability of bringing conveniences at many New Zealand railway stations more up to date was stressed by delegates. The almost complete lack of facilities at many big bus terminals and stops was also commented upon. It «was considered that the matter needed urgent attention. It was resolved to bring the subject to the notice of the Minister of Health, Miss Mabel Howard.
