SENIOR A ELEVENS OPENING THIRD GAMES OF ROUND 2
Senior A elevens tomorrow open the concluding two-day games of the second round, while Senior B conclude the first series of the second round and Second Grade teams open the third round in the respective competitions of the P.B. Cricket Association on the Gisborne grounds.
In the top division, the leaders, Rugby Old Boys, meet United, who with an outright win in the ikst round were the only side to gain a decision against R. 0.8., while Marist, in second position only lour points below R. 0.8., again try conclusions with H. 5.0.8., who had to cede a 10 point victory in the corresponding game of the first round. In the matches concluded last week Rugby Old Boys and H. 5.0.8. took decisions on the first innings against Marist and United respectively. The Senior B leaders, Rugby Old Boys (B), the only unbeaten team in the three competitions, gained an outright win against Marist last Saturday. In the other games of the division 11.5.0.8. opened with 184, in reply to which United had scored 101 for seven wickets at stumps, while High School had lost four wickets for 49 runs in reply to the Rugby Old Boys (A) first innings score of 160.
