PATRIOTIC REVOLT IN NORTH KOREA
SEOUL, Jan. 21. A patriotic rising directed against units of the North Korean Army has taken place in Hwahghai Province, just north of the thirty-eighth parallel. A Korean Government public information officer said today that he had no information on the extent of the rebellion.
Meanwhile, there are indications of fresh Communist movements southward across the thirty-eighth parallel which have been set off by the Communist victories in China and the .gradual withdrawal of the United States Army. Communists are infiltrating south in the guise of refugees.
