MAN KILLED IN 200 FT. FALL FROM VIADUCT

(P.A.) TAIHAPE, Jan. 21. The body of Mr. Tame Hoeroa Ropata, aged 22, employed by the Railway Department at Taihape was found yesterday morning by fellow employees at the bottom of a gully over 200 ft below the highest point of the railway viaduct at Mangaweka.

The deceased had evidently fallen from the viaduct, suffering multiple injuries. An inquest was opened in Taihape last evening for identification purposes. The deceased's uncle, Matthew Hiroa, said Ropata seemed happy in his job.
