BEACH CAMP POPULAR
Although the holiday season for many people is over, a large number of tourists and campers are still on the roads.
There is still a big influx of visitors into Gisborne and the camping grounds at Waikanae Beach, although not _as crowded as was the case over Christmas, is still fairly full. Caravans and trailers are still prominent. Many of the campers, after a few days in Gisborne. intend to follow the East Coast scenic highway north.
