WEST GERMAN-SPANISH TRADE PACT

FRANKFURT, Dec. 20

Spain will send the three Western zones of Germany ores and metals, fruit, chemicals and skins under a £5,500,000 trade agreement just concluded. “Trizonia,” in exchange, will sent machinery, chemicals, electrical equipment, seed potatoes and long-term construction projects to Spain. The pact, which will remain in effect until December next year, calls for a balanced exchange of goods and may be renewed for yearly periods. Payments will be made in dollars.
