SHIPPING
The Totara sailed from Westport late yesterday for Tokomaru Bay with a cargo of coal. The vessel is due at Tokomaru Bay on Saturday morning to commence discharge. The Matua, from Auckland via Suva, is due at Apia today and proceeds thence to Vavau and Nukualofa, returning to Suva on December 23 and then to Auckland, whera she is due on December 28. The Monowai is to re-enter the New Zea-land-Australia service leaving Wellington on her initial voyage to Sydney on January 28. The Rimutaka, now loading at Auckland with passengers and cargo, is to sail on January 14 for Southampton and London, proceeding via Panama Canal. The Wairimu is now at Calcutta. Carrying a limited number of passengers and cargo, the vessel is to return to New Zealand via Colombo. Batavia, Samarang and Sourabaya, She is due at Auckland about Janaury 20.
