Review Of Post Office Salaries And Wages

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 14. The Post Office's staff tribunal is to begin sitting in Wellington tomorrow to consider in respect of Post Office employees wages and salaries claims, including some arising from the deliberations of the Margins and Anomalies Committee. “Although the powers of the tribunal are advisory, the Government has agreed to accept the decisions of the tribunal on this occasion,” said the acting-Prime Minister, Mr. W. Nash. The tribunal will be:—-Chairman, Judge W. F. Stillwell; departmental representative, Mr. J. J. Knight; service organisations’ representative, Mr. G. A, Wilkes; assessor for the department, Mr, E. Curtis, assessor for service organisations, Mr. S. Mather; advocate for the department, Mr. R. J. Griffiths; advocate for service organisation, Mr. J. C. Churchill.
