“NO APPROACH YET”

(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Dec. 10. “No approach by the Licensed Victuallers’ Association has yet been made,” said the secretary of the Wellington Hotel Workers’ Union, Mr. F. O’Sullivan, today.

He added that while the period given in the ultimatum had not expired, the organisation of another stop-work meeting of bar-workers for next Wednesday would have to begin as it was not possible to complete such an organisation in one day.

An official of the Licensed Victuallers’ Association said this afternoon that no announcement was likely before next Tuesday.
