THREE CHANGES IN STAFF IN ’DISTRICT POST OFFICES

Three recent transfers of members of the Post and Telegraph Department’s staff in the Giesborne district include that of Mr. J. H. Dark, postmaster at To Araroa, who will become postmaster at Waiati, North Canterbury. Mr. F. G. Ryan. Wellington, replaces Mr. Dark in Te Araroa.

After carrying out the duties of relieving officer in the district for some years, Mr. F. S. Schroedcr has been transferred to a similar position at Te Aro, Wellington. The new relieving officer in the district will be Mr. B. A. Kinvig. from Te Aro, Wellington. Mr. J. 13. Martin, a member of the telegraph branch staff at Wairoa for some time, has been transferred to the telegraph branch at Gisborne.
