PARENTS TO DIE FOR MURDERING CHILDREN

(10 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 9. Hand in hand, William Park and his wife Mary, stepped into the Glasgow dock to be sentenced to death for murdering three of their daughters aged between 12 and 15.

The police found the whole family, including the younger daughter and son, in a gas-filled room with sealed windows, doors and chimney. Three days earlier the parents learned that their 15-year-old daughter was pregnant.

His Honour said: “It is pitiful, but we must not lot our feelings get the better of us.”
