FIRST TRIAL FOURS: G.R.C. CREWS FOR OPENING EVENT
Nominations for the Gisborne Rowing Club’s first trial fours series were less numerous than was expected, owing to a number of members being unable to compete, and six crews only will go to the post. Several new members will have their initiation in the sport in this series, for which the crews have been drawn as under:— D. Robinson, str., T. Muirhead, R. Sinton, M. Chalmers; K. Norman, str., G. Owen, K. Russell, H. Sayers; sl. Mills, str., H. Patterson, R. Mills, B. Torr; J. Kane, str., B. Ellis, K. Simpson, P. Pollard; B. Hankey, str., D. McGlashen, B Lee, D. Ross; W. Ellis, str., M. Young, R. Leeming, J. Hebenton.
