FINAL CLAIM ON WANGANELLA SETTLED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Oct. 4. The only remaining salvage claim against the Wanganella has been settled, the Eastbourne Borough Council, owner of the ferry steamer Cobar, having agreed to accept a sum understood to be between £3OO and £4OO. It had sought £2OOO. Earlier, a settlement of the three other claims was made for £34,900.
