CEREBRAL PALSEY SUFFERERS.— Preliminary steps towards the establishment of a special training centre for cerebral palsey sufferers in the Auckland Province are being taken by the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society, which hopes to open the centre next year. A survey of the 180 cases on the register has begun. It is hoped that the centre will expand into a home where the patients would stay for many years, leaving the Wilson Home free to take other types of brief-term crippled sufferers. The “long-term” home would be in line with tiie views of Dr. Earle Carlson, the world authority who recently visited the Dominion.
