DEATHS IN INDIANPAKISTAN CLASH

Twelve Pakistan policemen were killed or injured and one Indian was killed and three injured in a border clash between Indian and Pakistan police near the village of Thathi, 25 miles west of Amritsar, in the Punjab. The Indian police alleged that the Pakistan police attempted to kidnap Indian women working on farms near the village.
