BELGIAN RUNNER SETS WORLD RECORD
BRUSSELS. Sept. 29. The Belgian runner, Reiff, who won the Olympic 10,000 metres, beat the * world’s record for 2000 metres by clocking smin. 7sec. at an athletic meeting tonight. The Swede, Gundar Haegg. held the f previous record of smin. ll.Ssec. which* he set in 1942.
