MR. H. W. BUTLER, deputy controller of rationing, who has been visiting Gisborne this week, returns to Wellington tomorrow. MR. D. A. MACKINTOSH, deputy controller-general of prisons, retired yesterday after 38 years’ service with the Justice Department.—P.A.
