POSSIBLE SCORED ON MINIATURE RIFLE RANGE

Gaining the possible score, F. J. Jeune headed the list in the final round of the No. 3 trophy competition of the Gisborne Miniature Rifle Club completed on Saturday evening. Mrs. Dolman and W. J. Burton dropped only one point in the round. In the aggregate, which includes the handicap, Mrs. Dolman was the top scorer of the three sections, women. A grade and B grade. Burton topped the A grade aggregate and S. Boyle the B grade. Best B grade scores of the round were those of B. Clark and H. G. Allan, each of whom registered 97.

The evening’s air rifle competition was also keen. J. Smith compiled the possible and W. J. Burton, T. Gedye and A. Sinton were only one point down.
