VEGETABLE STANDARDS TO BE SOUGHT

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 18. A conference is to be held concerning the standards for vegetables. This was agreed to by the Dominion council of the Commercial Gardeners’ Association at its annual conference. The conference will be between representatives of the council, the Department of Agriculture, the Price Tribunal Standards Institute, Fruit, Produce and Auctioneers’ Federation and the Fruit Retailers’ Federation.

Messrs. B. V. Cooksley, president, L. B. Phillips, secretary, and C. E. Bertlesen will be the council’s delegates.
