19 MEN PARACHUTE TO SAFETY

(11 a.m.) ASMARA, June 16. Nineteen people, including 12 Italians and five Americans, parachuted to safety from an American Army Flying Fortress during a sandstorm near Dharan, in Saudi Arabia. Parties are searching the desert for the Fortress captain and a member of the crew who remained with him in the plane. The plane left Asmara yesterday.
