Greatly apprec ated. 2 HAWKE’S BAY EDUCATION BOARD ELECTION OF MEMBERS PURSUANT to the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, and the amendments thereof, it is hereby notified that on the 21st day of July, 1948, an election will be held to fill six ordinary vacancies on the Education Board of the District of Hawke’s Bay, one member being required to represent each of the Rural and Urban Areas as follows: North Ward of the Rural Area, Middle Ward of the Rural Area, South Ward of the Rural Area, Gisborne Urban Area, Napier Urban Area, and Hastings Urban Area. Nominations will close at five o’clock in the afternoon of Wednesday, the 30th day of June, 1948. Each nomination paper must give the full name of the candidate, and must be signed by not less than two members of a School Committee of the area for which the candidate is nominated and by the candidate consenting thereto, and must be received by the Returning Officer at his office.
