PROTEST OVER RELEASE OF NAZIS
PRETORIA, June 12. A decision by the Government to release five Nazis who were convicted of treason and sabotage during the war has brought protests from the iw.u.* deputy-Premier, Mr. J. H. Hofmeyr, and South African ex-servicemen’s organisations. The Minister of Justice, Mr. C. R. Swart, said that the prisoners would be released immediately.
