BIG CARS FOR MINISTERS

Sir,—l see that 18 super-super motor cars are to be brought into the country for the use of the Royal Family and after the tour are to be available to the Government. The Royal visitors are entitled to the best, but they cannot possibly use 18 cars. I suspect this is just a round-about way of getting more big cars for our Ministers to preen themselves in. The £100,01)0 to be spent on these cars would buy nearly 200 small cars for small people who have had to go without for years. The ordinary folk of this country have had enough ot going without so as to keep Ministers in gilded luxury and they will take the first opportunity of depriving the present holders ot office of their extrava gant perquisites.
