(10 a.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, June 12. The Under-Secretary of Labour, Mr. David A. Morse, has been elected Director-General of the International Labour Organisation, succeeding Mr. Edward Phelan, of Ireland, who is retiring. The position carries a salary of 20,000 dollars a year, non-taxable, plus expenses.
