NEW AIRCRAFT TO BRING MIGRANTS
CANBERRA, June 12. One hundred British migrants will be passengers in five Convair airliners coming to Australia for Tran-Australia Airlines. The Minister of Immigration, Mr. A. A. Caldwell, said each plane would carry 20 migrants. He expected the first flight to leave Britain next month. The 100 migrants, he said, would be the first to be brought to Australia by air under the official Government schemes.
